Does Livalo Cause Swelling In Ankles And Heels?
I have been on 2mg of livalo for about 8 months. My ankles are swelling and my heels hurt. I went to a bone and joint doctor, they put me in a boot. Have worn it over a month. Does not seem to help. Could it be the livalo? My colesterol is down, but my ankle hurts all the time.8

Livalo (pitavastatin) is unlikely to be the reason for your ankle swelling. Livalo may cause joint pain in certain patients. I would like to know whether you are taking any other drug apart from Livalo to comment further.
