Does Lymecycline Interfere With Implanon Implant?
I have had the implanon implant for approx 6 months. I have suffered from acne for about 3 of these. I went to see my doctor today and she prescribed me lymecycline. Will this change the way my implant works or am I still covered as much as I was before? I will be taking the anitbiotics for 2 months. thank you

Iimplanon (etonogestrel implant) is a progestin-only implant. The serum concentration of Etonogestrel can be decreased when it is combined with Lymecycline. Inform your Dermatologist, if not already done.
