Meloxicam is a drug which is commonly used for rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis, to relieve the pain and inflammation arising out of these conditions. This drug need to be taken with proper care and precaution. As u rightly suggested, it may have side effects like loss of appetite, stomach pain, dizziness, fatigue, internal bleeding, to name just a few. Avoid taking alcohol when on this drug. Also avoid taking medications for cold and allergy, unless your treating doctor has advised. And most of all, do keep the drug handy at all times and take utmost care not to miss a single dose, until further advice by the doctor. Hope this helps.
