Does Metamucil Cause Electrolyte Imbalance Along With Dizziness And Blurred Vision?

62 yr old male lactose intolerant which causes asthma symptoms. Meds: allopurinol 300mg BID, Lopressor 25 mg BID, MVI, Vit K 400mcg BID, St John Wort one cap QD. I took metamucile one table spoon for two weeks. Would this cause anelectrolyte imbalance? Symtoms: I wear hearing aids, it seemed like the volume was turned up much higher than the aids would go. dizziness, blurred vision, weakness, thought I might pass out.

Hi,

The medical symptoms that you have of allergic condition and dizziness, blurred vision, weakness are not associated with each other neither the medicines that you are taking have something to do with it, it seems to be symptoms of vestibular disfunction, cerebral pathologies and endocrine dysfunction all that needs to be differentiated. Stress may play the role but endocrine dysfunction really matter of concern.
