General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Some patients have reported renal insufficiency especially if they are diabetic & om metformin.

Metformin is contraindicated (if eGFR is less then 30mL/min/1.73 m²) in patients with poor kidney function or renal impairment.

You are suggested to visit a Nephrologist/Urologist & get assessed & treated at the earliest.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Nupur K, General & Family Physician
