Does Metoprolol Tartrate Cause Dizziness?

I have been taking Metoprolol tartrate 50 MG 2xs daily in place of Atenolol because my pharmacy can t get Atenolol from manufacturer at this time. I have a heart and blood pressure problem, also only one kidney. I have an irregular heartbeat I think it has been worse since taking this substitute. I have dizziness and just feel more confused than usual/ Should I be concerned? Do you think it is a side-effect from this med.?
