Does Mimvey Tablet Cause Elevation In BP Levels?

I have been prescribed Mimbey lo.5-.1mg tablet for menopausal hot flash symptoms. I have noticed after taking them for 4 days an increase in my blood pressure. Is this a common side-effect. My obgyn has told me that this medication does not increase blood pressure, however after reading the materials available for this prescription it does mention high blood pressure. Would I be ok to continue taking this medication until I have a dr s appt with my primary care dr on Friday?

Hello,

I don't think it does. did you have your bp checked before getting this medication also? Maybe your gynecologist and PCP can work together and control both symptoms if that is possible.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Harshita, Ophthalmologist
