Does Mirena Cause Sore Nipples?

Hi, I have had my mirena since 2012 now Im having symptoms of nipple soreness in both of my nipples. I just got a mammogram done on 3-10-2015. And it was negative. I really worried cause breast cancer runs in my family. My question is does mirena causes sore Nipples?

Mirena contains progesterone which may cause sore nipples. As your mammogram is negative you need not worry. If you are suspecting breast cancer you may have other symptoms like lump, discharge from the nipple, Pain, etc..
