Hello,

Sometimes, conception may occur very fast but at times it needs time. Ideally you should give at least two years time for conception to occur naturally, if it fails then infertility treatment is recommended. Ideally Infertility treatment requires clinical examination, tests and investigations to be done for both the partners to detect the viability of the sperms and eggs and detailed study.

Folic acid (5mg) is helpful for conception, as it protects the baby from neural tube defects. Food rich in folic acid can be taken in natural form to limit side effects. Infertility in women is due to obesity, age above 32 yrs, lack of folic acid, iron, zinc, and vitamin B-12 in the daily diet, addictions (alcohol, smoking, etc), stress (emotional and physical), STI, toxoplasmosis, ovarian, fallopian tube disorders, etc.

In men it can be due to high cholesterol, triglyceride, excessive smoking, alcohol or other addictions, STI, toxoplasmosis, erectile dysfunction, premature ejaculation, inappropriate semen analysis (counts), etc. Since you have been married for only 8 (eight) months, try for conception naturally. Stay away from addictions, stress, take healthy nutritious home made food. Stay blessed. In case, conception fails, do take medical support and help.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
