Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
Polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) is a
hormonal imbalance disorder affecting menstrual cycle and ovulation leading to difficulty in conceiving.
However, it is a treatable condition and when medications are given to correct them, wherein, there is a possibility of improvement in chances of conceiving.
It does not get cured completely once you take medications and hence these medications needs to be continued as advised.
What medications are given would help to:
1. Regularize your cycles.
2. Help to ovulate in time.
Fertyl tablet contains the 'Clomifene' as active ingredient. It helps to regulate the development of follicles in the initial part of the cycle and causes timely ovulation.
Naturogest contains 'progesterone'. Progesterone stimulates luteal actions, changes in
uterus as necessary for early
pregnancy. It is given because, if fertilization takes place and the fertilized ovum gets implanted, Naturogest helps to sustain and maintain it, so that the pregnancy would progress.
Kindly take the medication as advised.
Hope the information provided would be helpful.
All the best.
