Does Neurobion Injection Help In Curing Stiffness In The Legs?
My mother is of 45 years. She has neuro problems..She is taking medicines since last 3 years when she got facial paralysis. She doesnt suffer from any bp problem. She was given 8 neurobon injections few months back. Now she is suffering from stiffness in her legs.Is it advisable to take neurobon injections again?
I can understand your concern. Neurobion injections are used to treat disorders related to Viramin B12 deficiency. Leg stiffness can be due to this vitamin's deficiency.
However, one blood test should be done to assess the current level of Vitamin B12 in your mother's blood before proceeding with the injections directly. For minor deficiencies, vitamin B12 tablets work well and injections may not be needed. In addition, if blood report shows adequate level of this vitamin, then other reason for leg stiffness may be investigated.
I hope this information helps. Thank you for choosing HealthcareMagic. I wish your mother feels better soon!
Best, Dr. Viraj Shah
