Does Neurtin,Zoloft,Zanax, And Hydrocodone Help In Pain Management?

My husband has been diagnosed with trigeminal neuralgia. It started about 5 months ago with a sore in his nose, he has been bx - no cancer, catscan of sinus-nothing, cultured - staff infection twice. He has been to his family Dr. 2 different ENTs, our Dentist, our Eye Dr, Pain Mgmt, Neurologist, all the rx/s they gave him, nothing worked. nor did the creams inside of his nose 4 different kind.Now the family dr. today put him on Neurtin 600mg 3 times a day, 50 mg zoloft, 3mg zanax, and hydrocodone BT-IBU 7.5-200 tabs every 6 hours for pain. carbamezapine is a standard care of rx for trigeminal neuralgia.

yes the others do help in pain relief.

plz consider surgical options or procedures such as alcohol injectables into the affected nerve if medical therapy fails, as this pain is extremely incapacitating.
