I first had implanon and now on my 2nd treatment which is now nexplanon. I have about 5 months until my removal date. 2 weeks ago today I had contractions but all over mainly hurting my chest throat. I didn't know what was happening until last night it happened again and my mom had warned me with her advice that it sounds like contractions. They happened every 2-7 minutes and didnt stop until after I ate something which was complicated to do. So I guess my question is can this be my birth control ? And if so is that normal? Like I said its only the 2nd time its happened . The first time was 2 weeks ago. Both at night.
