Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Can norethisterone lead excess sweating? I have been recommended to take this medicine in appropriate doses to regularize my period. But I guess this has led to excessive sweating on my palm. Is this medication the reason for sweating a lot or can be something else? If yes, how can I have control over that?
Excess sweating is not a listed side effect under the medication. However, kindly wait for 1 to 2 months, as some of the side effects observed with such medications in the initial stages generally normalises gradually.
In case it becomes severe and bothersome, you need to seek medical attention promptly.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Ashakiran S, General & Family Physician
