Does Norethisterone Help To Induce Periods?
Hi. I m supposed to have my period on the 13th of September. Until now I still have not had my period. I ve conducted 2 pregnancy tests and both tested negative. I ve just started taking norethisterone for the past 2 days. Does this medication help to induce period? I m quite worried as I don t want to get pregnant.

Before taking this medication, ruling out pregnancy with the help of a blood test is recommended. As for the norethisterone, take the medication as prescribed for 5-7 days and then discontinue it. Once you discontinue it, you should get your period in about 3-5 days.
