Does NuvaRing Cause Vaginal Swelling And Tenderness?

Hi, I currently switched my birth control to nuvaring, my first few months went extremely well, but my last two have been rough, the inside of my vaginal canal has been very swollen and tender. Then I had my menstral cycle and changed my ring for the next month, the swelling became painful, and I removed the ring, now I have blood clots and period like symptoms occurring.

Hi.

Some individuals do experience such adverse reactions to the Nuvaring, although they are temporary and should soon subside. Speak to your prescribing doctor about helping you deal with your symptoms. But in the meantime, avoid sexual intercourse.
