Does Nuvaring Cause Any Side Effects?
I am on the nuvaring for birth control. I noticed today some spider veins on my ribs in about a 3/4 inch diameter area. Also a little one near my hip on my abdomin. I am concerned that this is a side effect of the nuvaring so I took it out, should I go to see my doctor?

Nuvaring is etonogestrel, Ethinyl estradiol vaginal ring. A drug which is available to our system in any form whether it is a tablet or a ring has its effects on our body.
So NuvaRing has also its side effects which may be a vaginal infection, vaginal itching or discharge. It may cause stomach cramps, decreased sex drive, increased hair growth etc.
