Does Oleanz 5mg Cause Stomach Pain, Restlessness And Weight Gain?
my sister is suffering in neuro convulsion since last fifteen years and taking Valpo CR 500 and Phenytal 50 thrice. But now due to acute condition of psychiatric problem (depression / absurd thinking and talking) Dr. prescribed her soltus 100 at night lobazam 5 on morning and oleanz 5 (BDPC) noon and night. Now she is rapidly weight gaining as well as suffering in stomach pain / bowl disorder as well as restlessness. Some persons telling me that oleanz causing problem. I am confused. Can you please advice?

Yes, Oleanz causes weight gain, drowsiness.
If the side effect is troubling you too much, then it is better to consult a doctor and wean it off.
Psychiatrist will prescribe an alternative drug to it, that doesn't have weight gain as a side effect.
