Does Oxycontin Contain Acetaminophen?

I am looking for a pain killer that does not have acetaminophen/a spring. I have used Firocet for over 10 years and it s effectiveness is not very good anymore. I have used Norco over the years, but again my concern is acetaminophen. Does Oxicontin come without acetaminophen? Or any other pain killers?

Hello, Thanks for the query.
There are a number of compounds called as NSAIDs (non steroidal anti-inflammatory Drugs) like Ibuprofen, Diclofenac, Aceclfenac, naproxen, piroxicam, etc. These drugs have pain relieving action along with antiinflammatory and antipyretic action. This is not the full list, there are still afew left.
There others like Tramadol, Oxycodone which relieve mild to moderate pain very effectively. All these drugs are available as single compounds or in combination with paracetamol. Oxycontin is plain Oxycodone, does not contain paracetamol. Thanks.
