Does P24 Reactive Mean HIV Negative?

went for testing 8 months after unprotected sex. doctor did western blot as first test. only p24 came back reactive. then had ab screen and pcr both non reactive. so am i hiv negative? what about the p24? should more than one band be reactive after 8 months?

yes p24 antigen eactive means that you hiv virus infection. it is not necessory that antibodies come reactive. because you may be in the window period.
