Hi, I am 32yrs and need some urgent help to understand my semen report. After confirming that my wife has PCOD, her gynaec also suggested my tests. Please let me know if this is a problem? Is it curable? Will it impact conception as we are eagerly planning a baby? I will suggest you the best possible treatment options. I have gone through your semen analysis report, it shows normal sperms count. But presence of pus cells is a matter of concern. Please seek prescription support from your treating doctor for suitable antibiotics to get rid of the infection. For your wife,
I will suggest that she should opt for a healthy diet and regular exercise regimen. Include more portions of fruits, salads and vegetables in daily diet. Start on Folic acid, Vitamin B 12 and Omega 3 supplements at least 3 months before you plan to get pregnant. This helps to prevent many problems during pregnancy and delivery.
I hope this answer helps you. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Thanks, Dr. Purushottam Neurgaonkar
