Does Parlodel Delay Periods?

I am 36yrs old and height around 5feet 7inches..i weigh about 85kg and i started taking parlodel on the first dat after my menses ie on the 18th of march and my last menses was on the 11th lasting for abt six days with breaks in btwn though..i will like to know if parlodel could delay my menses as i was meant to start on sat 4th april but am currently having some discomforts in my pelvic region

I appreciate your concern for the safety of Paroldel.

Incomplete data: the purpose of taking Parlodel.

Assuming that you have some menstrual irregularities due to increased levels of hormone Prolactin for which Parlodel is commonly prescribed.

Parlodel is not responsible for the delayed menstrual periods.

The most common side effects of Parlodel include headache, vomiting, dizziness & fatigue due a fall in BP, and skin rash.

Kindly consult your treating doctor to rule out other possibilities of delayed periods.
