Does Plan B One Step Cause Hair Fall ?
I have a problem with my hair shedding alot for 2 or 3 years now. I went to the dermatologist and the doctor said my hair looks fine and he doesn t see any bald spots. I take Biotin everyday. However, when I take a shower, a lot of hair comes out. Last month my period was late and this month I haven t had it yet. 2 weeks ago I had sex on Thursday and the condom was slipped off. I was worried that I am pregnant , so I went online to search for pregnancy symptom and came across a website saying taking Plan B One step pill will prevent pregnancy if you take it within 72 hours. I had sex on Thursday and took the pill on the late evening Saturday. On that same Saturday, the morning I had my hair dyed. Since then, I notice my hair has been shedding alot. I counted the hair (maybe more than 100 hairs/aday -- taking a shower and ran my hand through my hair). I notice everytime I ran my hand through my hair, 3 or 4 strands came out. Imagined if I run my hand through my hair 10 times, totaled 40 hairs would come out. I am scared now. My question is: do you think Plan B One step can cause hair loss? How long does the pill wear off?

Plan B One-Step..... consists of just one oral pill (levonorgestrel tablet, 1.5 mg).
It will effective more...! within 72 hrs.., even upto 4 days also effective..,but less
chances....Side effects are “Heavier menstrual bleeding (30.9%)
Nausea (13.7%)
Lower abdominal pain (13.3%)
Fatigue (13.3%)
Headache (10.3%)
Dizziness (9.6%)
Breast tenderness (8.2%)
Delay of menses (more than 7 days) (4.5%If you are experiencing severe abdominal pain 3 to 5 weeks after taking Plan B One-Step...
But there is no hair loss noted in the using of Plan B one..so far....!
Your Hair loss might be due to other cause..ok.
Hence use...Tab Boitin 10 mg for 30 days..along with application of..,
Minoxidil 5% and Aminexil 5% lotion...ok...good luck.,
