Does Postinor 1 Cause Diarrhea And Cramps?

hi.. i had unprotected sex and took postinor 1 within 24hrs.. that was a friday.. but started feeling drowsiness and unusual tiredness by sunday.. n diarrhoea till today.. i also started bleeding on wednesday... today s friday and im still bleeding, having diarrhoea n cramps... im scared about it because i have been on treatment for abnormal uterine bleeding, polycystic ovaries and hyper adenoma...n i still take dostinex... what could be the issue here and what do i do? please help me

Hi.

The bleeding could have been triggered by the postinor, and the effect of the medication on the uterus could have irritated your bowels resulting in diarrhoea. There is nothing to worry about in my opinion, and your symptoms should subside in a matter of time. If they do not settle within a few days time (7 days or so), then report to a doctor.
