Does Postinor Intake Alter The Pregnancy Test Results?

Hi doctor. I suspected I was pregnant because my stomach is growing big but during that time I had unprotected sex and took postinar. I also took a pregnancy test the following morning and it turned out negative. Does postinar 2 have any effect on the pregnancy test results? Could I be pregnant even after the test turned out negative?

postinar 2 does not have any effect on the pregnancy test results. the timing of urine pragnancy test is important, it is advised as you miss the anticipated date of your period.
you could be pregnant even after the test turned out negative if the test was done earlier so if the test is negative it is advised to repeat pregnancy test after 1 week. if the second test is positive it mean you are pregnant and if negative then it means you are not.
