Does Prednisone Cause Depression?

Hi, I have been diagnosed with P.D. since 2014 Sept. and last April I started Carbidopa Levodopa 25mg/100mg . I am now up to 2 pills 3x aday. I don t have a tremor but have freezing problems with my feet sticking to the ground. I tripped and sprained my ankle this week and the doctor put me on 20mg tab. of prednisone -2tablets once a day for 3 days. By the day 2 my freezing had increased and my mood has fluctuated from happy to crying to very frustrated. Can that be because of the prednisone? I took my last dose tonight. Thank you.

"As"per your clinical history s concerned your problem is due to the medication side effects only and depression, euphoria, insomnia, mood swings, personality changes will go away after few days of stopping medications.
