Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I just came from the Hospital. A Dr prescribed to me primolut n to stop my menstrual bleeding and to allow me to build my blood count because I have fibroids and am anemic. I took it 2 twice a day but the tablets leave me stuffy pain in chest and upset stomach. I stopped using them on the 15 January and my period came 4 days earlier (very vengeful) My Question is when I went to the Hospital they checked my CBC it came back 11 but I constantly have the feeling of passing out as am typing to you I feel that way. Is it because of the primolut n
I have read through your questions and would like to tell you that yes, one of the side-effects of Primolut N is dizziness. But since you had already stopped it a few days back, it may not be the reason. Since, you lost a lot of blood in the previous periods, it may be a reason of your weakness. If Primolut N is causing you side-effects you can ask your doctor to switch you to a low dose pill. Take it with milk to prevent gastritis. I hope that answers your question.
If you have any further questions, please feel free to write. Thank you for choosing healthcare magic.
Take care
Regards,
