Does Primolut N Help In Terminating Pregnancy?

Hi Doctor My period is delayed for 4 days and on pregnancy test it is showing positive. I don t want a baby so I consulted doctor . She gave me five days dose of PRIMOLUT-N tablet. Does this will help to abort as I heard that PRIMOLUT-N is used for delaying periods....does it also help in abortion???

Hi, I think you should take some medicines like mifepristone and misoprostol for the abortion. Only primolut N will not help. Discuss with your doctor regarding this.

Yes it does. It can used for both purposes. It contains progesterone hormone which has multiple uses including abortion and delaying menstruation. Hope this clarifies your doubt. Feel free to ask any more doubts that you may have.
