General & Family Physician, Dr. Vasudha's Response
Hi,
The worm medicine does not delay period but psychological stress can, due hormonal disturbances. You took Progesterone, got spotting while on it. The bleeding would now stop due to the hormone. Now, don't take any more pills. After stopping the pills, you would get bleeding within 8 days. After the periods on 5th day, visit your gynecologist if the same problem recurs next period.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Vasudha Jayant Athavale, General & Family Physician
