Does Regestrone Tablet Help To Regularize Periods?

Hi, I am 27 year old.I have irregular periods. Now my period is delayed by 2 months. I m planning for pregnancy. But all test came back negative. So doctor told me to take regestrone tablet. I dont have any problem. Really trying to conceive. Because of irregular periods I don t no when I ll ovulate and when to have intercourse.

Thanks for the query.
- Regestrone is a hormonal contraceptive
It also has a property to regularise menstrual cycle .. & ovulation is stimulated after stopping a minimum 3 months course of Regestrone.
- Ovulation usually is 14 days before the expected menstrual date.
It can be tested at home by using LH surge test...ovulation follows 1-2 days of +ve LH surge test.
-Unprotected sex should start from the day the test becomes +ve for 5 -6 days. This would increase chance of conception.
Cap. Vitamin E & Folic acid 5 mg pills should be taken by both sex partners for 3 months before conception.. helps healthy conception.
