Does Sandoz Protect Against Unwanted Pregnancy?

In order to stop excess and continuous bleeding my wife has been advised to take sandoz (regestron) 5mg twice daily. she is taking the same for last twelve days. I had unprotected sex two days ago and last night she did not take one tablet.Now my qerry is that is this medicine similar to contraceptive? She does not want to conceive.Please advice

Sandoz is oral contraceptive pill. It is having female hormone.
So it provides protection against pregnancy when taken regularly.
Since your wife missed one dose of this tablet, she may get pregnant.
So tell her not to miss any dose of Sandoz tablet.
If she misses her next period, better to get done Urinary pregnancy test to rule out pregnancy.
