Does Selenium Interact With Telmisartan, Bystolic And Clonidine?

I m currently taking 120 mg Telmisartan, 10 mg Bystolic in the a.m. and 2 mg of Clonidine in evening. Would adding Selenium help bring down my BP. flucuates from 140 s/130 s to 160-170/90-105. 68 y.o female, 125#, healthy low fat, rarely eat meat, exercise daily. Family hx of HBP which doesn t help. Thank you for your help.

cannot say in your particular case, but generally, selenium isn't invovled with blood pressure. Clonidine, a powerful blocker of stress hormones, is not a once a day medicine and it often causes fluctuations in blood pressure.
