Does TSH Of 4.77 Need Any Treatment Or Special Diet For Controlling It?
Good Morning Dr Shehzad. My TSH is 4.77 and GP said nothing need to be done and ask me to return for my blood test in next year. No treatment was given to me. Should I just leave it like this or you can recommend some treatment or food to take. Thanks, the worry one

The normal TSH levels in our body is 0.5-6 uU/ml. Your TSH is with in normal limits. I hope the rest of your thyroid profile is also within normal limits.
You donot have to take any medicines until and unless you have any symptoms. Also the tests are also within normal limits. So as advised by your GP you can repeat the test after a year to find out the thyroid status.
