Does Tamszapam Taken While On Effexor Cause Drug Interaction?
Hi, so I have a suspicion that Tamszapam has interacted with the Effexor that I'm taking, I take it in the morning 150mg, n only use the Tamszapam at night if I feel restless n I've had 2 incidents of loosing my temper with out warming, is it possible the interaction of the antidepressant n Tamszapam could be the course?
Hello thanks for asking from HCM for your health related queries
I can understand your concern. Tamezapam is a benzodiazepine drug and Effexor is Venlafaxine which is a SNRI group of anti anxiety and anti depressant drug. Both these drugs are commonly used in anxiety and depressive disorders. Tamezapam is a safe drug and is not associated with any serious drug interactions and side effects. The drug is safe to use and it doesn't interact with Effexor. So no need to worry. If your anger issues are persisting then visit a psychiatrist for reevaluation and help.
Thanks, Hope this helps you. Take care
