Does Tekturna In The Long Run Cause Black Outs?

Hi,my name is Jackie. I have been taking Tekturna along with Diltiazem for a long time for Hi Blood Pressure, I recent had a total lost of consiousness 2 weeks ago and hit my head hard an now have a concussion. The only drug that controls my BP is the Brand Drug Cardizem LA, I had told the Dr. s that but They kept prescribing Generic Diltiazem, which would only keep it down part of the day! It only cost $7 a month verses$150. Since my black out I have been on The Cardizem for 10 days & have totally gone off of the tekturna, My BP has been totally under control, to the degree of being perfect since this all happened. My question is could the tekturna cause the body, after a long period of time to lose blood supply to the Brain to cause me to black out so quickly, I was only out seconds, because when my head hit the ground I came too! I have not taken the Tekturna for 10 Days, I feel so much better except for the concussion!
