Does Testosterone Interact With Anastrozole?

My Urology Doctor prescribed Testosterone injection 0.5ml weekly for me and I normally inject this into my muscle. Later, my primary Care Physician advised, after a Lab test that my testosterone was high and he prescribed Anastrozole 1mg once weekly for me. Do I take the two prescriptions together or stop my injection?

Hi & Welcome.
I can understand your concern.
There's no documented interaction between the two given medications.
Anastrazole is a drug that prevents the conversion of Testosterone into Estrogen and is mainly used to treat breast cancer in postmenopausal women and metastatic prostatic cancer in men. It's however not approved for the treatment of high Testosterone level.
If your lab test shows high testosterone level, kindly consult your treating urologist to adjust the dose of weekly Testosterone injections.

Hope this answers your query.
