Hello, I have gone through your query. You have mentioned that you have been started on Tablet Thyrox (Thyroxine hormone) despite normal thyroid reports. You must have been started on this tablet to reduce the size of thyroid gland, but this can make you "thyrotoxic", which means increased level of thyroid hormones in your blood.
As long as your thyroid hormone levels are normal, there is no problem. So, I would suggest you to undergo thyroid function tests regularly (once monthly).
Also, I would like to assure you that even if thyroid levels are higher, it would not result in stomach distension. So, thyroid problem is not at all related to your this problem.
Hope you have answered your query. Thanks and regards Ankur Pruthi
