Does Transderm Scop Patch Cause Hallucinations?
My mom is 86. It was recommended we try a trascop derm patch for her dizziness and balance. She has just been through a two day ordeal of hallucinations. The patch was taken off 3 days ago. Could her behavior be a side effect of the drug? She is doing much better now.

trascop contains scopolamine which can cause hallucinations.as you suspect it is skide effect of drug but no need to worry it is short term side effect ,once you stop the drug it go away. no worries for future effects
