Does Trigeminal Neuralgia Cause Severe Pain And What Is The Remedy?
I have severe pain on my left side of my face. it is both the lower and top part of my jaw. The pain just started on Friday Jan, 18th 2014. It isn't going away at all. It is extremely painful, it hurts with a throbbing motion, whether you eat, drink, breathe, or try to sleep. I believe it is called trigeminal neuralgia. I'm looking for any medication(s), or remedy to ease the pain or make it go away for just a moment. The pain is now extending to my left ear. Actually in Trigeminal Neuralgia the pain is sharp, shooting in nature and it lasts for few seconds. The pain starts on walking, washing face, shaving or even on talking.
As you are mentioning that your pain is not releaving only, it can be a tooth pain also or can be a Temporomadibular joint (jaw joint) pain.
Better once you should visit dentist get a complete examination with x-ray done and get a proper treatment done, rather taking medication on your own.
