Does Trimethoprim Prescribed For Urine Infection Cause Stomach Pain?
I was given sulfameth/trimethoprim 800/160 Tabs. for a urinary tack / ear infection on Wed. had no problems until yesterday I took it before eating anything and I was in serve pain from 9:30am until over in the night. Today I am just weak feeling afraid to eat anything. should I continue the medication..

I would advise that you should take a pre and probiotic along with the antibiotic along with an antacid like Omeprazole 40 mg before meals.
