Does Turmeric Interfere With Prednisone And Doxycycline?

My husband is suffering pain from his hip to knee. There seems to be some swelling around his knee. He had a blood test and has 8 out of 9 markers for Lymes disease. An MRI shows some problems in his lower spine that is normal for age (66) and years of living an active life. He has a lot of pain and doctors have put him on doxycycline for 21 days, naproxen for inflammation and prednisone (just prescribed). So far not much relief. Someone overheard me talking about this and said she had some of the same problems and told me she takes a couple of drops of Tumeric morning, noon and night and it has helped her. My husband has an appointment with a spinal specialist on Aug. 30 to discuss pain management if the problem persists. Would Tumeric interfere with the current medications he is taking? Any suggestions?

I had gone through your question I can understand your concern.

If seems your husband has severe inflammation problem and prednisolone is anti inflammatory medication too also helps in pain management.

Yes he can take there is no problem associated with though it has some antiseptic indications but I don't think it will help you.
