Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I take 90mg of Brilinta bid...plus91mg asprin.....can I only take tylonol (over the counter) pain med, with this medications? Also I am bruising more than I am comfortable with.... my Heart Dr. said it s normal..... but he has not seen the extent of my bruising? Not sure what to do?Thank you!
Tylenol has no interaction with Aspirin or Brillanta. You can use it for pain as over the counter.
This is the safest drug you can take for pain relief. Regarding your bruises, little bruises may be there with the above drugs, as they both cause thinning of the blood.
However, if it's too much, then its necessary to be seen by your doctor as this may indicate too much thinning of blood which may be serious some times.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Mahboob Ur Rahman , General & Family Physician
