i am 6 weeks pregnant according to my ultrasound and i went in for irregular vaginal bleeding it doesnt come out after i pee but instead it comes out randomly. it started off brownish and now it always comes out red been going on for almost 2 weeks now . the told me that i had a mild uti and prescribed me antibiotics... i asked them if my bleeding can come from the uti the nurse told me no. but im still doubtful can a uti makes you bleed randomly like that? please help me...
Hi, dear I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern. Urinary tract infection can cause bleeding in urine but has no relation with random vaginal bleeding. You should check your urine for RBC. If blood is present in urine then it can be urinary tract infection or some urinary tract disease. But if your urine is clear then you should go for ultrasound abdomen once to search the cause. Then you should take treatment accordingly. Hope I have answered your question.
