Hello good day, i was wondering if i can talk to a doctor about abnormal vaginal bleeding. I thought i had my period on sept 6 2016 but i was just light brown discharge. The second day(sept 7,2016) it was pink spotting. The next day it was gone. But then sept 9,2016 i got my period. Lighter than usual last for about three days. But then today i bled September 19, 2016. I wonder what would cause this? Can this be pregnancy? Or something else serious.
Hi Thanks for psoting on HCM Abnormal vaginal bleeding could be caused by many medical conditions.Pregnancy and related complications happen to be some of the possible causes of such symptoms.Other possible causes may include: -Hormonal imbalances/ovarian dysfunction -Pelvis masseslike fibroid and cysts.. -PID/STI I will advise you take a pregnancy test.If test comes negative , you see your Gynecologist for evaluation and investigation. In this case, you will need a pelvic ultrasound, PID/STI work-ups and if no cause identified, hormonal work-ups may be requested. Hope this will help Best regards
