Does Unwanted 72 Cause Irregular Menstruation?

Hi I suspect I hv conceived as I just missed my menses..canI take zitotec 200mg as I hv no intention of being pregnant. I already hv a complete family. Though I consumed unwanted 72 .then I did strip test n it showed negative result. But I still hv missed my periods, which otherwise r very regular n at exact 25 day cycle.

Hi,
Thanks for posting your query. I have gone through it and understood your concern. Your chances of conception are very less since you have consumed the emergency pill. Also, if you had the intercourse during the safe period of your menstrual cycle, there is no chance of pregnancy even without any contraception. The emergency pill contains high hormone dose and as a result creates hormone disturbances. This is the most likely cause of the delayed period. They can get delayed for a week or two. If you do not see a period even after ten days after it is due, please see a specialist for further help. Hope this helps.
