Does Ursodiol Interact With Coumadin, Propranolol, Lexapro And Synthroid?
I am on TPN and my gallbladder is sludging up after 7 months of TPN. My gastro is suggesting Ursodiol 2X per day to treat the gallbladder sludge. I also take 7.5 mg coumadin each day in the evening to treat blood clots in the mesenteric, portal and splenic veins. I do have non-bleeding varices and am on 20 mg propanolol daily to reduce blood pressure. I also take 10 mg Lexapro daily for mild depression/anxiety and .150 mg daily synthroid for hypothyroidism. Are there any interactions or down sides of taking Ursodiol?

You can safely take ursodiol with all of the routine drugs.
It will not interact with each other to does not affect the efficacy of one another.
