Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hello, I have been on Venlafaxine for about 15yrs. 225 dly. Lately have felt very depressed again. Should I ask for an increase? I am also taking Tramadol for a back injury and know there is a drug interaction. Although I havent had any of the symptoms can this be a cause for my depression again? thanks.
Venlafaxine does not interact with tramadol or affect the efficacy of one another. However, you will feel extreme sleepiness while combining these two.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
