Does Vertin And Stugeron Have The Same Composition?
I am suffering from cervical spondylosis and BP of 100-140/160 and of 62 years of age. Doctor of orth.prescribed vertin 24 SOS and perviosely doctor of med.prescribed stugeron tab in BP &vetigo case..Is these are the same.

Vertin contains Meclizine, which is an antihistamine used to treat nausea, vomiting due to motion sickness or vertigo. Stugeron is also an antihistamine which is used for the same purpose. Thus, both the medicines have different molecules of the same group. However, both have an added advantage of working as a calcium channel blocker, which is very useful in treatment of hypertension.
