Does Viagra Treat The Sensation Of Urination During Intercourse?
i am a 38 yr old married male . i am having diabetes for the past around 9 years.i am taking metformin(riomet od -500 mg) twice daily (once after lunch and the second one after dinner .also i am taking lipzar 50 mg for pressure after dinner one tablet.i met a urologist because i feel urinating sensation while having sex with my wife ( have married on june 2010) he suggested that i take viagra .is it advisable ? pls help
I think instead of a urologist you should consult a psychiatrist, were I your physician I would take detailed history like do you actually micturate in between the intercourse, or the feeling may be due to premature ejaculation, how in control is your diabetes, I would get your blood sugar levels & HbA1c tested, then come to a conclusion, Viagra taken blindly is not advised.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Sagar Mudgal, Psychiatrist
