Does Vyvanse Cause Elevated Sexual Urge And Stimulation?
Hello I've been on Vyvanse for 6 yrs. It works, at first, then after about 3 hours vyvanse turns into a poison in my body. My whole body( mainly horrible leg fatigue) goes through horrible symptoms. Not to be forward, but( I'm a 40 year old man and vyvanse stimulates me much more than a teenager and I have multiple orgasms usually 3 in a row lasting approximately 5 minutes. I apologize for the sexual aspect. How much weekly should I drop weekly? Even dropping off slowly am I going to have bad withdraw?
Hello thanks for asking from HCM for your health related queries
I can understand your concern. Vyvanse is amphetamine drug and the drug is one of commonly used drug of abuse. The drug have high dependence potential so should be used with proper prescription only. The drug is a stimulant drug and it is known to increase urge in some individuals. I'd advise you to start weaning off the doses of the drug gradually to get rid of the drug. Try to reduce the doses by about 20% every two weeks and then stop completely at about 8-10 weeks. This would help to ease the withdrawal and the intense stimulation you are having will decrease. Please visit your doctor for details.
